As a Data Visualization Senior Associate in the Chase Travel Group Solutions Data & Analytics (D&A)team, you will deliver data-driven insights and business intelligence solutions for external clients including Corporate Travel Management, Corporate Partner Travel, and Premium Leisure lines of business. You'll work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to provide travel insights and recommendations, support D&A requests, product launches, and AWS multi-cloud migration initiatives. You will collaborate with account teams, product owners, and clients to translate business needs into actionable analytics. Together, we will drive the growth of Chase Travel's B2B and B2C offerings by leveraging modern BI tools and innovative thinking.
Job responsibilities - Collaborate with account teams, external clients, and product owners to define data and analytical requirements.
- Research enterprise data warehouse tables and schemas to develop SQL queries for data extraction.
- Translate data using data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights and tell compelling stories
- Create, update, and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI.
- Audit and ensure compliance of reports and dashboards with data governance standards.
- Act as a data expert, supporting account teams and internal stakeholders with client inquiries and ad hoc requests.
- Develop sustainable data and BI solutions, establishing best practices amid ambiguity and client-specific complexities.
- Support product launches and AWS multi-cloud migration initiatives with data and analytics expertise.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data discovery and developing SQL queries for reports and BI solutions.
- Proficiency with BI/Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend best practices in data analysis and report delivery.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Experience in the travel industry.
- Experience with data pipelines in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
- Experience using iBank.
- Familiarity with ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools.
- Advanced data visualization skills.
- Experience supporting both B2B and B2C business models.
