Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Technical Lead to serve as a subject matter expert and hands‑on solution architect for Adobe Experience Platform implementations. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing AEP solutions across RTCDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), with a strong focus on identity, data modeling, integrations, and platform architecture.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in AEP, strong client‑facing skills, and the ability to lead technical teams in a hybrid, multi‑vendor delivery environment.
Experience
• 8–12+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Cloud or enterprise customer data platforms
• 5+ years of hands‑on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementation experience
• Experience operating in onshore/offshore, multi‑vendor delivery models

• Understanding of AEP APIs and deployment processes
• Integration patterns across Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
• Knowledge of Data Science Workspace (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Adobe Experience Platform Leadership
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Adobe Experience Platform, providing hands‑on technical leadership across implementations and enhancements.
• Design and implement AEP solutions, including XDM schemas, datasets, identity namespaces, profiles, and merge policies.
• Lead architecture decisions related to identity graph, real‑time customer profiles, segmentation, and data governance.
Solution Architecture & Integration
• Define and implement integration patterns between AEP and Adobe Experience Cloud tools (AJO, CJA, etc.).
• Provide architectural guidance on AEP APIs, deployment models, and platform configuration.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and performant AEP architecture aligned with business requirements.
Technical Delivery & Collaboration
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and solution leads in Agile delivery teams.
• Lead and guide technical resources (onshore and offshore), providing design direction and implementation oversight.
• Review technical designs and ensure implementations align with approved architecture and best practices.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong working relationships with clients and Cognizant stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, clearly communicating complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences.
• Propose alternative solutions and approaches when addressing complex technical or functional challenges.
Continuous Improvement
• Continuously enhance solution architecture, team knowledge, delivery methodologies, and customer‑facing collateral.
• Stay current with Adobe platform advancements and recommend improvements to existing implementations.
Qualifications
• Deep, hands‑on experience implementing Adobe Experience Platform solutions.
• Strong understanding of AEP’s integrated architecture within the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical architecture and solution design discussions.
• Excellent client management skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to operate in complex, fast‑paced, multi‑vendor environments.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to propose alternative technical solutions.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams and influencing without direct authority.
