Our West Michigan Client has a short term opportunity for an Automation QA Engineer to assist with a current project. This is a remote role for candidates in the EST or CST time zones.

responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible to script and execute automated test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues and perform within their Scaled Agile Framework.
qualifications:
3+ years of relevant QA experience (SDET, QA Automation)
Knowledge and experience with QA methodologies & test cycles
Experience (scripting and executing) automation testing with Postman for API.
The ability to write, document and execute test cases in Microsoft VSTS
Should be comfortable (read and write) with at least one object-oriented language (preferable Java).
Should be comfortable (read and write) with at least one relationship database (preferable SQL).
Experience with version control, code branching, code review and code merge release
Strong team player, good communicator, and collaborator
Ability to test application from "All Angles"
Agile experience
Github Copilot
Azure Cosmos, DB, Microservices, Kafka
