Role Overview
This position provides technical support for the creation and delivery of software products. The role involves conducting technical research and collaborating with developers on the design, development, and usage of software development tools and systems. As a skilled specialist, you will contribute to the development of new concepts and techniques, working independently on complex assignments that require a high degree of judgment and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across the full software development lifecycle, from design through release.
- Collaborate with developers on the research, design, integration, and improvement of development tools and systems.
- Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize systems used for configuration management, builds, releases, and change control.
- Support documentation, code integration, testing activities, and delivery tracking for software products.
- Lead projects or teams within your technical domain, setting methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex problems with minimal oversight.
- Develop or contribute to new concepts, techniques, and process improvements.
- Work independently to manage unique or ambiguous technical situations requiring strong judgment.
- Perform physical infrastructure tasks such as de-racking, moving, and re-racking network equipment.
- May supervise the activities of other non-exempt team members.
Required Qualifications
Education: A technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of related experience in Software Development or Support.
Technical Skills:- Strong UNIX skills.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, third-shift position. The work schedule is from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $22.00 and $27.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
