Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Location: Corte Madera, CA
Work Schedule: 100% on-site for the first 6 months (approx); then hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote
Salary: $80k-$125k base + 2-6% Bonus + Equity + Benefits + 401k

Must have:
  • 2-5 yrs accounting experience
  • Month-end close, reconciliations, and GL experience
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar

Nice-to-Have:
  • Audit/public accounting experience
  • Retail revenue accounting experience
  • SQL, Access
  • Transaction processing experience (Adyen, Discover, American Express)
  • Audit experience

Job Details

Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, revenue accounting, reporting, audit requests, and process improvements. This is a hands-on role with exposure to complex accounting operations, cross-functional projects, and strong career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end close, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
Perform AR and credit card transaction reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and create ad hoc reports.
Support revenue accounting and audit requests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
Utilize Excel, Access, Oracle Analytics, and reporting tools.
Identify process improvements and enhance workflows.
Assist with reporting enhancements and system initiatives.
Support other accounting projects as needed.

Must have:
