Job Description :
We are looking for Senior Informatica ETL Developer with strong Data Warehouse experience consultant in multiple US locations, it’s a hybrid role, 3 days in a week., hybrid work model.
Experience in ETL - Source to target mapping, incremental push (or incremental load), informatica PowerCenter.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Informatica ETL Developer with strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and ETL development. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, along with deep understanding of data models, CDC, SCD, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL pipelines to load data into Data Warehouse
- Work with multiple source systems (RDBMS, flat files, APIs) and integrate data into staging and DWH layers
- Build and maintain Fact and Dimension tables based on business requirements
- Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1, 2, 3) in ETL processes
- Handle Late Arriving Dimensions using industry best practices
- Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms, including scenarios without timestamp columns
- Optimize long-running ETL sessions and improve performance using partitioning and tuning techniques
- Debug and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL workflows
- Work with clustered and non-clustered indexes, and understand row store vs column store
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams for data validation and reporting needs
