Job Title: SAP MRP Consultant – Master Data, Quota Arrangements & Supply Planning

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP MRP Consultant to support a client in the MRP Readiness phase, focusing on improving master data quality, strengthening transactional stability, and enabling effective SAP source determination processes.

A key part of this role involves preparing the organization for Quota Arrangements (QA) adoption, ensuring the right governance, training, and configuration groundwork is established before full implementation.

Core Responsibilities:

1. MRP Stability & Data Governance

• Improve SAP MRP execution by enhancing master and transactional data quality
• Establish structured governance processes for maintaining clean SAP data
• Define daily and weekly operational routines to ensure stable MRP runs
• Set up monitoring processes for MRP jobs, including error tracking and resolution workflows
• Define KPIs to measure MRP performance, data accuracy, and process stability

2. SAP Source Determination & Configuration

• Analyze and strengthen SAP MRP source selection logic
• Align SAP configuration with business procurement and planning needs
• Work with key SAP sourcing objects including:
  • Source Lists
  • Purchase Info Records (PIRs)
  • Contracts
  • Scheduling Agreements
• Ensure proper understanding and alignment of sourcing rules across teams

3. Quota Arrangements (Preparation & Design Focus)

• Drive awareness and structured understanding of Quota Arrangements in SAP MM
• Identify where quota-based sourcing is applicable across materials and plants
• Support definition of QA rules aligned to procurement strategies
• Document configuration needs and business scenarios for QA adoption
• Develop material/supplier mapping for future quota implementation
• Create guidelines for ongoing QA data maintenance and governance
• Build readiness checklists for successful QA rollout in next phase

4. Business Enablement & Workshops

• Conduct knowledge sessions for procurement and supply chain stakeholders
• Explain SAP MRP flow, sourcing logic, and master data dependencies
• Facilitate working sessions for QA scenarios and sourcing use cases
• Support adoption of procurement visibility and performance metrics (e.g., OTIF)
• Promote cross-functional alignment between business, procurement, and IT teams

5. Deliverables

• SAP MRP readiness assessment and gap analysis
• Master data governance framework for MRP stability
• Quota Arrangement design and readiness documentation
• List of validated QA use cases and implementation candidates
• Workshop outputs and training documentation
• Final readiness report with recommendations for next-phase execution

Required Skills:

• 7–10+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP MM and/or SAP PP (MRP)
• Strong understanding of SAP MRP process flow and source determination logic
• Experience working with SAP master data objects (PIR, contracts, source lists, scheduling agreements)
• Hands-on or strong functional knowledge of Quota Arrangements (SAP MM)
• Experience in supply chain planning or procurement processes
• Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
