Position Overview
SEI is seeking an experienced Operations Associate with hands-on expertise in the FIS AddVantage Wealth Management Platform. This role will support critical operational functions across the wealth management lifecycle, including client onboarding, account maintenance, transaction processing, reconciliation, portfolio accounting, and trust accounting activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of wealth management operations, financial services processes, and the FIS AddVantage platform, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while ensuring operational accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Wealth Management Operations
- Execute day-to-day operational activities across the client and investment lifecycle.
- Support client onboarding, account setup, maintenance, and transfer activities.
- Process client transactions accurately and within established service levels.
- Maintain accurate client, account, and investment records within the FIS AddVantage platform.
- Perform portfolio accounting and trust accounting operational activities.
- Support account servicing and advisor-related requests.
Transaction Processing & Reconciliation
- Process securities transactions and related operational activities.
- Reconcile account, transaction, and investment data to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Monitor operational reports and identify potential risks or processing concerns.
- Respond to advisor and client inquiries related to account operations.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain complete operational documentation and audit trails.
- Support KYC, account opening, and compliance-related activities.
- Participate in operational reviews and control validation processes.
Platform & Process Support
- Utilize FIS AddVantage platform capabilities to support advisors and clients.
- Participate in platform upgrades, enhancements, and operational improvements.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), operational health checks, and validation activities.
- Assist with platform migrations, process improvements, and system optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with front-office teams, operations teams, and technology groups.
Required Qualifications
- 3 5 years of experience within Wealth Management Operations.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using the FIS AddVantage Platform.
- Experience supporting multiple wealth management operational functions such as:
- Client Onboarding
- KYC Processing
- Account Maintenance
- Trade Settlement
- Transaction Processing
- Reconciliation
- Portfolio Accounting
- Trust Accounting
- Strong understanding of wealth management operational workflows.
- Experience handling client and advisor support requests.
- Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with platform migration initiatives.
- Process improvement and operational transformation experience.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience.
- Operational health check and control validation experience.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven financial services environments.
- Experience supporting advisor-facing wealth management operations.
