Job Details

We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to translate drawings into repeatable, high yield production processes. This role is driven by growth from new product launches and involves leading APQP activities, guiding capital equipment planning, and coaching operators on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead APQP activities and drive continuous improvement to ensure on time PPAP.
  • Partner with product teams to build standard work and cost efficient processes.
  • Guide capital equipment planning from technical justification to implementation.
  • Author and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards.
  • Coach operators on machine operation, SPC, and practical problem solving.
  • Interpret complex prints and apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability.
  • Quote new components accurately and refresh existing customer quotes with current data.
  • Uphold QMS and EMS requirements within everyday manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands on experience with APQP, GD&T, SPC, PFMEA, and PPAP.
  • Experience in Precision Machining environments.
  • Clear communication skills across operators, peers, and leadership.

Nice to Haves

  • Automotive experience.
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
