Job Title: Network Security Analyst II - RSA Archer Specialist
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst II - RSA Archer Specialist to support enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining RSA Archer solutions to ensure alignment with organizational governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and security control standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RSA Archer architecture and application configuration, along with experience integrating enterprise systems in complex, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain RSA Archer GRC solutions, including:
- Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
- Controls Assurance Program Management
- Issues Management
- Custom Archer applications
- System integrations
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements; translate into:
- Solution designs
- Configuration specifications
- User stories and implementation plans
- Configure and customize Archer components, including:
- Questionnaires and surveys
- Forms, data fields, calculations
- Workflows and approvals
- Role-based access controls
- Automated data feeds and imports
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services to connect Archer with enterprise platforms (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, risk systems)
- Implement client-side customizations using JavaScript and jQuery
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects; optimize application performance
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including design, configuration, integration, testing, and release artifacts
- Adhere to established change management and governance processes
- Support user adoption through training materials, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Participate in special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in network security, GRC, or related technical fields
- One of the following certifications:
- Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
- Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator - Expert
- Strong expertise in RSA Archer architecture, data model, workflows, and application configuration
- Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance processes
- Experience integrating Archer with enterprise platforms using REST APIs and web services
- Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in structured, change-controlled environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large enterprise or public sector GRC implementations
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC
- Experience integrating Archer with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Background in information security, risk management, or compliance teams
Work Environment
- Onsite role in Austin, TX
- Collaborative environment working with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and IT stakeholders
- Supports mission-critical enterprise GRC operations
