A bit about us:

We are a growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Waterjet Operator to join our production team. This is a hands on role for someone who is comfortable working from blueprints, operating CNC equipment, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining high standards for quality and productivity.

Waterjet experience is preferred, along with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Details

Set up and operate CNC waterjet equipment to produce parts according to specifications
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances
Set machine offsets, prove programs, and make adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
Deburr finished parts and verify quality before completion
Identify machine malfunctions or out of tolerance conditions and make appropriate adjustments
Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean
Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
Work closely with production, quality, and management to resolve machining or quality issues
Meet or exceed production and quality expectations
Communicate production status and issues between shifts
Follow all required safety procedures and company policies
Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process

Preferred Qualifications

Previous CNC machining or waterjet experience
Forklift experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with precision measuring instruments
Basic shop math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and basic algebra
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
