We have a position as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer role for Remote. Please find the job description below for this position.
Role: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Fulltime
Notes: This role is really looking for Senior Azure DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead the rebuild of an Azure cloud platform using Infrastructure as Code. This is a hands-on individual contributor who can assess an existing Azure environment, design reusable Terraform foundations, automate infrastructure with GitHub Actions, and work independently with stakeholders.
Key skills are strong Azure platform engineering experience, Terraform and GitHub Actions. Experience with TACOS tooling such as Atlantis, Digger or similar would be beneficial.
Niche combination to prioritize: Senior Azure Platform + Terraform module development + GitHub Actions + Azure networking.
The contractor should be based in the Eastern Time Zone (or be able to work Eastern hours) to ensure sufficient overlap with the wider team.
Required qualifications
- Senior-level Azure platform engineering experience
- Strong Terraform expertise (module development, state management, reusable modules)
- GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation
- Azure networking (hybrid connectivity, VNets, DNS, private endpoints)
- Experience assessing Azure environments and contributing to platform architecture
- Ability to work independently and engage technical stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
- TACOS tooling (Atlantis, Digger, or equivalent)
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare/HIPAA is a plus).
