Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Technical Project Manager to join their team.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives, with a strong focus on on-premises to Azure cloud migration programmes across data, platform, and application domains. This role requires a strong self-starter who can independently drive delivery, identify gaps, and take ownership without waiting for direction. The successful candidate will operate across a UK-US distributed team, ensuring delivery alignment, governance, and successful migration outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of on-prem to Azure migration programs
* Develop and manage delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies
* Drive proactive ownership of delivery outcomes and unblock issues
* Coordinate across UK and US stakeholders
* Maintain RAID logs and governance reporting
* Ensure alignment with architecture, security, and compliance
* Create monthly steering committee reports
* Managing the program budget
* Creating detailed go live plans

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree level ideally technical; PMP or alternate Project qualification
* Strong experience in on-prem to Azure migration
* 12+ years of Project Management experience
* Experience with migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect)
* Understanding of integration patterns and hybrid cloud
* Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud migration programmes
* Experience working with global (UK-US) teams
* Experience managing complex dependencies and multiple workstreams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
