Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Compliance & Product Attachments
- Coordinate execution of required product attachments and compliance documentation prior to vendor onboarding or contract award
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and internal regulatory requirements
- Monitor contract request submissions for timely and accurate processing
- Contracting Standards & Governance
- Support the management and maintenance of procurement contract standards, including:
- Contract templates
- Clause libraries
- Playbooks
- Policies and procedures
- Checklists and compliance documentation
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance contracting efficiency
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze compliance projects, pilot programs, and contracting standards
- Generate reports to track performance, risk exposure, and compliance adherence
- Subject Matter Support
- Serve as a junior subject matter resource for contracting standards and vendor compliance requirements
- Identify inefficiencies and assist with developing quarterly improvement plans
- Provide training and guidance to peers when needed
- Recordkeeping & Systems Management
- Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities
- Update contract lifecycle management systems with accurate and current information
- Ensure documentation of approvals aligns with internal policies
- Issue Resolution
- Address and resolve contract compliance questions or concerns from vendors and internal stakeholders
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Business SMEs, and Category Management teams to interpret and implement contract requirements
- Customer Service
- Deliver professional and responsive support to internal stakeholders
- Manage a high volume of ticket-based requests (approx. 50–100 per week)
- Provide consistent updates and maintain service-level expectations
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; General knowledge of procurement processes and contract compliance
- 1-3 years of experience reviewing legal/commercial contract terms and identifying risk exposure
- Healthcare or managed care compliance/regulatory environment
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Government procurement requirements and subcontractor flow-down clauses
- Drafting and improving contract templates and terms
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
