ITCON Services is seeking an energetic and engaged professional as a Senior Accountant for a full-time salaried position.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site at ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons Corner, Vienna, Virginia.

<>Job Responsibilities:</>

Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and attention to details.
Assist in development, analysis, and communication of monthly financial statements on a timely basis.
Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable (customer invoices), general ledger, cash management and payroll processing and review.
Coordinate and assist with audits with all external independent auditors (annual financial statement audit, bank audits and other audits as required) and prepare of required items in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards as well as some knowledge of DCAA compliance and FAR clauses.
Assist with the development, implementation of and monitoring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Self-reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction.
Ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

<>Required Skills and Qualifications:</>

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Minimum of 4-6 Years in government contracting.
Minimum of 3 years experience with Unanet (REQUIRED).
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
