Senior Accountant

ITCON Services is seeking an energetic and engaged professional as a Senior Accountant for a full-time salaried position.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site at ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons Corner, Vienna, Virginia.

<>Job Responsibilities:</>

• Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and attention to details.

• Assist in development, analysis, and communication of monthly financial statements on a timely basis.

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable (customer invoices), general ledger, cash management and payroll processing and review.

• Coordinate and assist with audits with all external independent auditors (annual financial statement audit, bank audits and other audits as required) and prepare of required items in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards as well as some knowledge of DCAA compliance and FAR clauses.

• Assist with the development, implementation of and monitoring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

• Self-reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

<>Required Skills and Qualifications:</>

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

• Minimum of 4-6 Years in government contracting.

• Minimum of 3 years experience with Unanet.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
