Job Title: Senior OpenText Migration Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior OpenText Migration Consultant with deep expertise in OpenText Archive Center and proven experience in version upgrades (21.4 to 25.4). The ideal candidate will independently lead end-to-end migration initiatives, including planning, infrastructure setup, database migration, and cutover execution.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP Archive Link integration and the ability to manage large-scale (TB-level) data migrations while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Migration Planning & Assessment
- Analyze existing OpenText landscape, including Archive Center and Content Server
- Assess data volume, archive structures, and metadata
- Identify risks, dependencies, and downtime windows
- Define migration approach (side-by-side vs in-place)
Migration Execution
- Perform OpenText Archive Center migrations (21.4 25.4)
- Handle infrastructure setup, database migration, and system configuration
- Execute data migration across storage platforms / environments (on-prem to cloud if applicable)
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation
Integration & Support
- Configure and support SAP Archive Link integration
- Work with SAP ILM, VIM, and related document management processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration and integration issues
Cutover & post-migration
- Plan and execute cutover activities with minimal business disruption
- Perform post-migration validation and performance tuning
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in OpenText technologies
- Strong expertise in OpenText Archive Center
- Proven experience with OpenText upgrades (21.x to 25.x)
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end migration projects
- Deep knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink integration
- Experience handling large-scale data migrations (TB-level)
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, databases, and storage systems
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with OpenText Content Server migrations
- Knowledge of cloud migrations (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with SAP ILM, VIM workflows
- Scripting or automation experience for migration tasks
