Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead for all data conversion activities across the SAP‑to‑Oracle migration.
Partners with Customer functional leads and product owners to ensure each conversion object has clear requirements, mapping, ownership, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple conversion cycles (mock loads, dry runs, dress rehearsals).
Track progress, dependencies, risks, and issues across dozens of conversion objects.
Facilitate cross‑functional working sessions to resolve mapping questions, data quality issues, and validation gaps.
Oversee extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load activities performed by technical teams and the implementation partner.
Drive reconciliation and validation efforts with business SMEs to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Maintain detailed conversion plans, dashboards, and status reporting for program leadership.
Lead cutover planning and execution, including load sequencing, checkpoints, and go/no‑go readiness.
Communicate clearly and consistently with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
Ideally this candidate has strong experience managing conversions in either SAP or Oracle.
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi‑object conversion portfolios.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability.
Strong project management discipline: planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
Experience working with system integrators and cross‑functional business teams.
Ability to quickly stabilize a challenged workstream and implement structure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating from SAP ECC or S/4HANA to Oracle Cloud.
Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
Prior experience leading cutover for a large ERP implementation.
