Summary

Job Title: SAP AA/PS Consultant
Location: 100% remote
Duration: 6 Months Contract
 
 
Role Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Conversion expert to lead and execute brownfield (system conversion) initiatives with a strong functional focus on SAP FICO, Asset Accounting (AA), and Project System (PS).
 
The ideal candidate will own readiness, design, impact assessment, conversion execution, data reconciliation, and cutover activities for AA and PS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams (FICO, P2P, BW, and technical teams) to ensure a smooth and compliant S/4HANA transition.
 
Required Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of SAP Finance experience with strong AA & PS expertise
Experience in 3+ full-cycle SAP implementations, including minimum 2 S/4HANA brownfield conversions
Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance (AA & PS)
Expertise in New Asset Accounting (S/4HANA):
Ledger/accounting principles and depreciation area mapping
Fiscal year/period close readiness
AUC lifecycle, investment measures, capitalization
Depreciation runs and periodic postings
Integration with Universal Journal
Experience with local GAAP (China PRC / Japan JGAAP) is a plus
Expertise in Project System (PS):
WBS design and procurement integration
Month-end closing and settlement to assets
S/4HANA Conversion Tools & Skills
SAP Readiness Check & Simplification Item Catalog
SUM/DMO planning and execution
Data reconciliation strategies
Strong integration knowledge across FI, CO, MM, IM, Central Finance
