AVA Consulting is seeking a Project/ Program Manager – Backup Power Solutions

Job Description:

  • Provide high-level leadership and direction for large-scale, complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, managing budgets, timelines, risks, and resources to achieve desired outcomes. Drive cross-functional collaboration, building consensus among stakeholders across departments and external partners.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential project risks and challenges, implementing solutions to maintain project momentum and success.
  • Deliver regular updates and presentations to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress and key milestones.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, integrating innovative methodologies and technologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Oversee the adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Manages and directs multiple medium to large-sized projects within a department or business unit.
  • Manages all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, design, vendor management, and risk management.
  • Develops and maintains parameters for project requirements including tracking and issue management.
  • Provides direction to contractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Coordinates input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objectives, and resolves issues to ensure successful outcomes
  • Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project.
  • Builds business cases and justifications for projects designed to improve business processes and/or efficiency.
  • Provides team/project goals and evaluates performance.
  • Researches and evaluates available contractors and consultants.
  • Prepares, negotiates, and approves or recommends approval of contracts and contract changes.
  • Manages related budget analysis, and prepares budget forecasts.

 

Requirement:

  • 2-5 Years of experience required
  • Demonstrated Project Management strengths (i.e., organized, planful, resourceful, action-oriented)
  • Detail-oriented when dealing with contracts, budgets, invoices, plans
  • Bachelor's Degree required
