Summary
Required Skills:
- Lead structured resilience assessments for 10–12 applications across 8 NFR domains: Availability, Reliability, Recoverability, Observability, Performance, Scalability, Security, and Control.
- Evaluate resilience patterns including Circuit Breaker, Bulkhead, Saga, Outbox, Event Sourcing, HMAC, Idempotency, DLQ, Fan-Out, and Backoff/Jitter.
- Build end-to-end journey maps for critical banking transactions such as Zelle, Digital Banking, and Lending, including dependencies and failure modes.
- Create executive-level Component, Sequence, and Deployment UML diagrams.
- Develop application-level and CBC-level scorecards using a 1–5 scoring rubric.
- Identify resilience, architecture, and maturity gaps and provide recommendations.
Need to Have:
- 10–15 years of overall IT/software engineering experience.
- 7+ years of enterprise application architecture, design, and assessment.
- 5+ years of SRE/resilience engineering experience on production systems.
- 3+ years of banking/financial services domain experience.
- 5+ years of experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- 3+ years of UML diagramming experience using Lucidchart, Visio, or Enterprise Architect.
