Senior Informatica ETL Developer (Remote)
Primary Location: Remote

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Informatica ETL Developer (Remote) for our premier client.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced experience developing and supporting Informatica ETL solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Handson experience with Informatica Cloud / IDMC; experience with on prem Informatica PowerCenter is a plus.
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake).
  • Proven experience supporting production ETL systems with operational accountability.

Technical Skills
  • Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI / IDMC).
  • ETL / ELT best practices and data integration patterns.
  • SQL and relational databases.
  • File based integrations and data transformations.
  • Job orchestration and scheduling concepts.
  • Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD and work tracking tools.
  • Data governance, data quality, and security principles.

Key Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a production support environment.
  • Clear communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and uphold engineering standards.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Informatica ETL Development:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Informatica ETL mappings, workflows, and task flows to support enterprise data integrations.
  • Build batch and near real time integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI/IDMC) or equivalent Informatica platforms.
  • Implement transformation logic including filtering, aggregation, joins, and data standardization.
  • Participate in migration and modernization efforts, including converting legacy ETL workloads (e.g., DataStage) to Informatica.
Data Integration & Pipelines:
  • Develop and support ETL pipelines ingesting data from operational systems, SaaS platforms, files, and databases.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data delivered to downstream systems, analytics platforms, and reporting consumers.
  • Apply enterprise data integration patterns and reusable framework standards across integrations.
Production Support & Operations:
  • Provide operational support for Informatica jobs, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, and resolving incidents.
  • Support job scheduling and orchestration in coordination with enterprise schedulers and downstream systems.
  • Participate in on call or extended hours support rotations as required.
  • Manage code promotion and deployments across environments following change and release processes.
Collaboration & Delivery:
  • Partners with architects, data engineers, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver reliable data integration solutions.
  • Provide estimates and technical input for funded projects and enhancements.
  • Track development work and production changes using Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent lifecycle management tools.
