Why Rolls-Royce?

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

By joining Rolls-Royce, you\'ll have the opportunity to create world-class power and propulsion solutions, pushing your problem-solving and ingenuity, to deliver real impact that puts safety first.

You\'ll be given responsibility and the opportunity to grow in our high-performance culture. This is Infinite Potential. And it\'s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world\'s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.

Position Summary:

This is a central role leading projects within the dedicated task force of DeliveryWorks, who is chartered to diagnose and permanently fix the root causes behind chronic delivery failures. As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will own end-to-end initiatives within a portfolio of projects from problem definition through corrective action closure, serving as the primary integration point across programs, supply chain, planning, procurement, quality, engineering, and manufacturing.

What you will be doing:
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for the assigned delivery improvement initiatives: charter, governance, and outcomes
  • Manage a portfolio of active and potential improvement projects, taking accountability for the schedule, milestones, risk, and regular reporting of progress.
  • Convene and run recurring task force reviews with cross-functional leads (planning, procurement, quality, manufacturing, engineering) to drive issues to closure - not just status updates
  • Maintain communications with stakeholders including status reporting to senior stakeholders as defined in the project governance structure for the assigned projects
  • Manage project changes, such as cancelling projects or changing scope of projects to react to changes in direction
  • Escalate systemic or cross-functional blockers to leadership with clear options and recommendations
  • Validate that implemented fixes eliminate recurrence through follow-up audits
  • Institutionalize permanent fixes into standard work - updated planning parameters, supplier requirements, or process controls - so the task force can eventually stand down
  • Support and/or lead communities of practice across the global DeliveryWorks program management team

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree with 7+ years of supply chain or operations experience and program/project management experience, OR
  • Bachelor\'s degree with 5+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience, OR
  • Master\'s degree or higher with 3+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 9+ years of supply chain or operations experience, and program / project management experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Requirements:
  • Significant experience in supply chain and operations within a manufacturing industry
  • Understanding of ERP, MRP, planning systems, and data tools (Excel required; Power BI/Tableau a plus)
  • Understanding of key supply chain processes such as planning / SIOP, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery and delivery governance (short term interval control, rate readiness, ERP compliance, data integrity management). Logistics, warehousing, and returns experience is not required
  • Strong track record driving cross-functional accountability without direct authority - this role must move people to closure, not just track them
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complex environments
  • Excellent communication skills

Our vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future. It\'s a bold pursuit, and we never stop striving to go further, faster, and better. We lead progress, creating the technologies that move us forward. If you\'re driven to grow, to learn, and to make a lasting difference, this is where you belong.

Rolls-Royce is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any protected characteristics. We are committed to providing a respectful and non-discriminatory workplace where individuality is valued and everyone can thrive.
