  • API Development & Support: Develop, extend, and maintain enterprise APIs; support backend API calls routed through WebLogic and Oracle Fusion middleware layers.
  • Integration Patterns & Transformations: Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns, including both Synchronous and Asynchronous message processing. Develop transformation logic using XQuery and XSLT.
  • System Stabilization & Debugging: Support the stabilization of ongoing integration delivery projects by diagnosing message flow bottlenecks, system defects, and environment issues.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Utilize SOAP UI and associated testing tools to perform end-to-end testing of SOAP/REST web services and integration endpoints.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain and manage WebLogic Server 10g and/or 11g environments to ensure continuous uptime and seamless service orchestration
  • Other duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: 8+ years of enterprise experience in Java EE / JEE development and middleware integration platforms.
  • WebLogic Mastery: Deep hands-on experience developing, configuring, maintaining, and managing WebLogic Server 10g / 11g.
  • Oracle Service Bus (OSB) & Fusion: Proven experience building and maintaining integrations using Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and Oracle Fusion middleware suites.
  • EAI Patterns & Transformations: Advanced knowledge of EAI patterns (SynchronoAsynchronous) and extensive hands-on experience writing transformation logic in XQuery and XSLT.
  • Testing & APIs: Demonstrated ability to build, debug, and test web services/APIs using SOAP UI.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Utility Industry Knowledge: Prior experience supporting enterprise integration teams in electric, gas, or critical infrastructure utilities.
  • Legacy Modernization: Familiarity with migrating or bridging legacy JEE/WebLogic services to modern cloud-native or microservice architectures.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong diagnostic skills for analyzing legacy code, coupled with excellent technical documentation and team collaboration abilities.

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively
