Role Overview


You will lead the design and development of the top-layer user experience for complex, company-wide technology initiatives. Unlike middleware-heavy roles, this position focuses on the integration of UI/UX with enterprise service layers to deliver high-quality, customer-facing applications.


Key Responsibilities


Engineering Leadership: Lead complex technology initiatives with broad impact; mentor junior staff and act as a peer mentor.


Full-Stack Development: Design, code, test, and document scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and React JS.


Standards & Best Practices: Develop company-wide engineering standards with a focus on security, regulatory compliance, and "production-grade" discipline.


Collaboration: Consult with senior tech teams and external industry groups to resolve complex technical hurdles.


Required Qualifications:


10+ years of Software Engineering experience,


10+ years of experience in Application Development using Java and Microservices


10+ years of experience using Database Technologies such as Oracle, Mongo.


10+ years of experience using Spring Boot.


10+ years front end experience using React JS.


Desired Qualifications:


2+ years of experience working in an Agile working environment such as Scrum or


Kanban.


2+ years of experience Leading and Coaching junior staff.


2+ years of experience building relationships with stakeholders and vendors.


2+ years of experience in Migrating Applications to Cloud such as Google, Azure, or


PCF.


A certification in Cloud a plus.


2+ years of experience in Financial Industry a plus.


2+ years of experience using Eclipse.


2+ years of experience using Kafka.
