We are looking for Business Analyst for our client in Hanover, NJ

Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Location: Hanover, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr

Responsibilities:

Support initiatives across credit, debit, and prepaid card products.
Work on tokenization and digital wallet integrations including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Support authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
Assist with fraud monitoring, controls, chargebacks, and dispute management.
Collaborate with card processors such as FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, and Marqeta.
Act as a liaison between business, product, technology, operations, and compliance teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT planning, and defect triage.
Engage with payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
Develop UAT strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
Execute and support User Acceptance Testing and defect resolution.
Support production releases, post-implementation validation, and issue resolution.
Analyze transaction data, metrics, and trends to support decision-making.
Collaborate with data teams on dashboards, MIS reporting, and regulatory reporting.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

Functional Domain Skills:

Strong experience in cards and payments domain.
Knowledge of ISO 8583 message standards.
Understanding of authorization and settlement flows.
Knowledge of interchange fees and network rules.
Familiarity with fraud and dispute lifecycle.
Experience working with Visa and Mastercard rules and mandates.

Business Analysis Skills:

Expertise in requirements elicitation techniques.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Technical And Analytical Skills:

Comfortable working with APIs, message flows, and data mappings.
SQL or data analysis experience preferred.
Understanding of digital payments and mobile wallets is a plus.
