Senior Java Engineer – Electronic Trading
Location: Jersey City, NJ (100% Remote)
Openings: 3
Rate: $70/hr On W2
Experience: 10+ Years
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Must have LinkedIn and 2 professional references along with their LinkedIn
Technical Stack / Must-Haves:
- Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
- FIX Protocol / FIX Engines
- AWS Cloud
- KDB+ (strong preference; prioritized during initial 1–2 weeks)
- Python, Linux
- Low-latency messaging: 29West, Kafka
- Distributed, asynchronous, event-driven systems
- Time-series databases and performance optimization
- Capital Markets / Brokerage / Order Management Systems
- CI/CD: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy
- GitHub Copilot or similar AI developer tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance, low-latency trading systems.
- Optimize scalability, messaging, and system resilience.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
- Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations.
Top Priorities: Java/Spring API Development + FIX Protocol + AWS. KDB+ experience is a major advantage and an initial screening priority.
