Job Title: Cloud Ops Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cloud Operations Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting mission-critical, 24/7 production environments. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining high availability, automating system health checks, and collaborating with cloud engineering teams to deploy and optimize infrastructure. Required Skills:

• 3+ years of AWS and Linux experience (Azure and GCP are a plus)
• 1+ years of experience managing and maintaining 24x7 internet-oriented production environments, preferably across multiple data centers with hundreds of servers.
• Monitoring health of the system, maintenance tasks, and reporting systems experience
• Identify, research, and troubleshoot complex issues within the cloud
• Operator experience with deployment frameworks such as Jenkins for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking components, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities, with excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is a plus.
• Applicants must have U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, DataDog, or Splunk.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of hands-on experience supporting high-availability, cloud-based systems.
