Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and manage data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud data services, data pipeline development, and data architecture, enabling scalable and secure data management and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows in Azure.
Build and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, SQL Data Warehouse, Cosmos DB, etc.
Develop data models and optimize data architecture for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance within Azure environment.
Automate data processing tasks using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and other tools.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Stay current with Azure data services and emerging cloud data technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with cloud data platforms.
Strong proficiency in Azure data services including Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, and SQL.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, or Scala.
Knowledge of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance in Azure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Experience with big data tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with DevOps practices for data engineering.
Certifications in Azure Data Engineer or similar are a plus.
