Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support the development and verification of a complex medical robotics system. This role involves developing test methods, executing system-level verification testing, and supporting requirements traceability within a regulated medical device environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex electromechanical medical devices, strong knowledge of verification and validation (V&V) processes, and familiarity with medical device standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement verification test methods for complex medical robotics systems
Execute system and subsystem verification testing
Support and maintain requirements and risk traceability
Implement and manage test processes within engineering toolchains
Perform statistical analysis and determine sample sizes for testing
Validate software tools and test fixtures
Work closely with cross-functional teams during verification and validation phases
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for systems engineering and quality processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Biomedical, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering) or equivalent experience
5+ years of technical experience in the medical device industry
Experience developing verification strategies and test methods
Knowledge of requirements traceability and risk management
Experience working with complex electromechanical systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with medical or surgical robotics systems
Knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 60601-1
Experience with system-level testing in regulated environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting verification and validation (V&V) activities
