Summary

  • Proven Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in application development, system integration, or e-commerce projects.
  • System Integration: Hands-on experience in managing system integration projects, including connecting e-commerce platforms with backend systems such as SAP, ERP, payment gateways, and external APIs.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to lead teams and execute projects efficiently.
  • JIRA & Confluence: Proficiency in using JIRA for tracking project tasks, milestones, and bug tracking, and Confluence for documentation, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, driving alignment and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate project goals, risks, issues, and timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in identifying problems and providing solutions that keep projects on track and deliver client satisfaction.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP, Agile certifications (e.g., ScrumMaster) are highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Retail Industry Knowledge: Experience in managing projects related to the retail industry, including e-commerce, supply chain, and inventory management systems.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, for deploying and managing e-commerce solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Knowledge of Magento performance tuning and optimization practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring clear scope definition, project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation. Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track milestones and deadlines.
  • E-Commerce Solution Delivery: Manage and oversee e-commerce solution projects, particularly involving Adobe Commerce (Magento), including the end-to-end process from design to implementation, ensuring seamless integration with other retail systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, payment gateways).
  • System Integration: Coordinate integration efforts between e-commerce platforms and back-end systems like SAP, CRM systems, and third-party APIs. Ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Project Management: Lead project teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Use JIRA to track project progress, manage tasks, and collaborate with teams. Create and maintain project documentation in Confluence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of project goals, progress, risks, and issues. Maintain relationships with clients to align project delivery with business needs.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation plans and implement corrective actions to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and support cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and business analysts, to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Foster a collaborative and transparent environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project constraints are met. Adjust plans as needed based on scope changes or unforeseen challenges.
  • Quality Control: Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards, ensuring all technical specifications, requirements, and functional goals are met. Oversee testing and validation phases.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of project details in Confluence. Provide regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and issue tracking through JIRA dashboards, to clients and internal leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Foster best practices in project management, collaboration, and communication.
