Summary

Job Description
A leading consumer finance company helping millions of Americans achieve their financial goals is looking for a UX Lead to help drive the next generation of digital experiences across its lending platform. As one of the largest non-bank lenders in the United States, the company is making significant investments in modernizing its technology, creating intuitive digital products, and transforming the way both customers and employees interact with its financial services. Through a multi-year digital transformation initiative, they're reimagining complex operational workflows with a focus on usability, scalability, and innovation.

As a UX Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of the company's flagship digital platform by designing end-to-end experiences for internal users across the loan lifecycle. This is a highly collaborative individual contributor role where you'll partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations to simplify complex business processes into intuitive, scalable workflows. You'll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, solve challenging UX problems, and create meaningful experiences that improve efficiency for thousands of employees while ultimately enhancing the customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior product designer who enjoys working on complex systems rather than consumer marketing pages. You'll help define how large-scale operational platforms evolve, contribute to a growing design system, and work alongside cross-functional teams that value thoughtful design, accessibility, and measurable business outcomes. If you're passionate about solving difficult workflow challenges, influencing product direction, and building enterprise software that makes a real impact, this is an outstanding opportunity.

This is a C2H hybrid position based in Baltimore, MD, requiring three days per week onsite (Tuesday through Thursday). The company offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to join a well-established organization that continues to invest heavily in digital transformation and employee growth.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related discipline
  • Experience designing end-to-end user experiences for complex systems, platforms, or enterprise applications
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complex workflows and business processes
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience designing within Agile development environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience incorporating AI-powered tools into day-to-day design workflows and identifying opportunities where AI enhances user experiences
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience designing internal tools, operational platforms, or workflow-driven enterprise software
  • Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining scalable design systems
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies and modern product design methodologies
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end experiences across complex operational workflows supporting the lending lifecycle
  • Translate highly integrated business systems into intuitive, scalable user experiences
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations teams to define and deliver product solutions
  • Use customer insights, analytics, and research to iterate on designs and improve business outcomes
  • Contribute to and evolve the company's design system while ensuring accessibility and consistency across digital experiences
The Offer
You will receive the following benefits:
  • Competitive Salary
  • Annual Bonus
  • Medical Insurance
  • Dental Benefits
  • Vision Benefits
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Volunteer Time
  • Hybrid Work Schedule

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
