Senior Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer responsible for managing capital improvement and infrastructure programs related to municipal water and wastewater systems. This position involves overseeing projects from planning through construction and closeout, with a strong focus on coordination, technical review, and project delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of municipal infrastructure delivery and hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing capital improvement replacement and rehabilitation projects at facilities and within public rights-of-way
* Actively participating in project planning, design development, and construction management
* Developing project scopes, cost estimates, and supporting long-range infrastructure planning
* Procuring and administering professional services and construction contracts
* Performing technical reviews of engineering designs, plans, and specifications
* Coordinating design and construction activities with customers, operations staff, and other internal or external stakeholders
* Integrating final construction documentation into work management and asset management systems

Managing projects that may include:
* Large-diameter water pipelines
* Pump stations, storage tanks, reservoirs, and pressure-reducing valve stations
* Water production and aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) wells
* Wastewater system assessments, including sewer mains, manholes, force mains, and lift stations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
* Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Arizona is preferred
* At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering, architecture, or a related technical field
* At least 3 years of experience in water or wastewater engineering design, plan review, inspection, construction, or project management

At least 2 years of experience managing consultants and contractors on capital improvement or large-scale infrastructure projects, including:
* Development of scopes of work
* Proposal and payment application review
* Permitting coordination
* Review of design and construction drawings

* Technical expertise and project management experience in water and wastewater infrastructure
* Knowledge of engineering principles applicable to municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices used in municipal infrastructure projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
