Senior Power Platform Developer supporting the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at National Institutes of Health (NIH).
As a Senior Power Platform Developer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Senior Power Platform Developer joining our team to develop new MSPP applications, as well as modernizing existing applications for our customers, which will support their administrative and research activities including those related to planning, funding, and conducting research that promotes the prevention and treatment of heart, lung, and blood diseases.

Our work depends on Senior Power Platform Developer joining our team to develop new MSPP applications, as well as modernizing existing applications for our customers, which will support their administrative and research activities including those related to planning, funding, and conducting research that promotes the prevention and treatment of heart, lung, and blood diseases.
How a Senior Power Platform Developer will Make an Impact:
- Collaborates and engages with analysts and business experts to gain full understanding of business needs and requirements
- Contributes across all phases of the software development life cycle using Agile practices
- Coordinates with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, configuration management, security, and other technical groups to ensure all needs are met and fully implemented
- Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies applications, reports, and workflows with a Power Platform solution. Develops and supports custom solutions and interfaces using Power BI, Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model Apps and Power Pages), Power Automate, Dataverse.
- Designs end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing using low and no code solutions
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Required Experience:
- Nine years of general solutions design and development; five years of experience as a Microsoft Power Platform developer
Required Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Power Platform development skills, including Power BI, Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model Apps and Power Pages), Power Automate and Dataverse.
Security Clearance Level:
- Must be able to obtain a level 5 Public Trust, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data migration
