Description:
**Hybrid role | 2 days a week onsite in New York City**

Interview type, virtual then onsite (no travel or relocation expenses will be provided.

We are seeking a Senior Informatica Developer to join the HR Technology team within the Chief Data Office.

6-8 years of experience will suffice, not looking for an architect but do need to have recent Informatica experience.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay: $70 - $75/hr W2

Responsibilities:
This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise data pipelines that support the HR Analytics ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Informatica, Python, and SQL, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment

Experience Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering / Data & Analytics
  • 4+ years of recent experience with Informatica.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and transformation
  • Advanced SQL skills (data validation, optimization, complex transformations)
  • Experience with data warehouse / data lake design and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and enterprise data pipelines
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
  • Strong fundamentals - candidates must demonstrate real hands-on expertise (no resume-only experience)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Nice-to-Have / Secondary Skills
  • Experience migrating from Informatica to modern data stacks
  • Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including model tuning or LLM integrations
  • Experience conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
  • Experience with HR data models or People Analytics
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or similar)
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
  • CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)
