Role SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant / Senior Consultant
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to design, develop, deploy, and support integrations across SAP and non-SAP applications leveraging SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP CPI) on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The successful candidate will work closely with functional teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations supporting SAP S/4HANA and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
Design, build, test, and deploy integration interfaces using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
Develop and support real-time, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven integrations.
Create and maintain iFlows, APIs, adapters, mappings, and integration content.
Configure and support SAP standard integration packages and pre-built content.
Design interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications including CRM, HR, EAM, GIS, data platforms, and external vendors.
Architecture & Solutioning
Collaborate with solution architects to define integration architecture and standards.
Recommend best practices for interface design, monitoring, security, and governance.
Participate in integration strategy, fit-gap analysis, and technical design workshops.
Support migration of integrations from legacy middleware platforms to SAP CPI.
Testing & Deployment
Develop technical specifications and interface design documents.
Support unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across development, test, and production environments.
Participate in cutover planning and hypercare support activities.
Operations & Support
Monitor integration performance and proactively identify issues.
Analyze interface failures and implement corrective actions.
Maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure system stability and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of SAP integration experience.
3+ years of hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite experience.
Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP applications.
Strong knowledge of:
SAP Integration Suite

REST APIs
SOAP Web Services
OData Services
IDoc
RFC/BAPI
XML, JSON, XSLT
Experience with API management concepts and integration governance.
