Summary

Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor works closely with positions across the organization such as Engineers, Maintenance Mechanics and technicalcontractors, managing and assisting in the completion of day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including HVAC, lighting systems, ovens, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance.

Responsibilities:

Manages, supervises and executes maintenance as well as support activities.
Manages the CMMS system by creating both emergency and preventative maintenance work orders, assigning work orders and following up to ensure completion.
Supports site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs.
Assist in maintaining adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
Ensures machinery is inspected with respect to safety issues inclusive but not restricted to ground and trip hazards, non-functioning lights, broken pieces along with exposed wiring.
Works closely with the Maintenance & Facilities Manager to plan and manage capex projects that improve plant performance and safety.
Addresses maintenance issues in timely way working with maintenance staff.
Ensures department compliance to company safety and security standards, procedures and policies.
Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures

Qualifications

1+ years supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment ? preferably manufacturing
Bachelor?s degree (preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of systems (electrical, heating, HVAC, PLC etc.)
Proficient MS Office suite of software (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point. etc.)
Ability to multi-task is critical for this position
Excellent written, verbal & presentation communications skills
Strong commitment and focus on safety
