Location: Austin, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Security Architect to support a proactive requirement for building a pipeline for IRR business. The architect will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing network security, primarily focusing on Cisco firewalls and related infrastructure. This role involves analyzing configurations, refining rulesets, and implementing security controls to protect the network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze firewall rules and network configurations to identify gaps.
- Block identified Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) at the network perimeter.
- Review and refine firewall rules to enhance the overall security posture.
- Implement controls to limit ingress and egress traffic to the environment.
- Ensure network infrastructure is brought to current patch levels to address vulnerabilities.
- Deploy secure VPN or Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
- Create new network segments to isolate critical systems.
- Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project needs.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Must have 5+ years of experience in Network Architecture. Must have 5+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls.
