Senior Node.js Developer – AWS Lambda / Amazon Connect

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Node.js Developers with strong AWS Serverless experience to develop and support applications powering customer interactions within an AWS-based contact center platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js, AWS Lambda, Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, REST APIs, and AWS serverless services. You will work on IVR, self-service, API integrations, and event-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Node.js applications using AWS Lambda.
• Build and enhance IVR and self-service workflows using Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex.
• Integrate contact center platforms with CRM systems, databases, enterprise applications, and third-party APIs.
• Develop reusable Lambda services for authentication, routing, customer identification, case management, and self-service transactions.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Work with AWS services including API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and AWS DevOps services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Collaborate with architects, contact center engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of Node.js development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS development experience
• Strong experience developing AWS Lambda applications
• Experience with Amazon Connect and/or Amazon Lex
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and Microservices
• Experience with:

• Strong experience with Git / GitHub
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud deployment
