Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects delivered under state and local government contracts. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in full compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and public-sector standards. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for government clients and internal delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with contract requirements
• Lead project kickoff, status meetings, and project closeout activities
• Manage scope, milestones, deliverables, and change requests
• Ensure compliance with state and local government regulations, SLAs, and audit standards
• Act as the primary liaison with government agencies and stakeholders
• Track risks, issues, performance metrics, and implement mitigation plans
• Oversee budgets, invoicing, and cost controls
• Prepare required documentation, reports, and compliance records

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Public Administration, IT, or related field
• 3 7+ years of project management experience (government projects preferred)
• Strong understanding of contract and compliance management
• Experience with PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• PMP or equivalent certification (preferred or ability to obtain)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with government procurement, grants, or audits
• Managing subcontractors and multi-vendor environments
