Job Summary

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications aligned to business and technical requirements. The role requires hands-on coding, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to engineering best practices to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements, migrations and automated extracts for technical and corporate applications based on functional and technical requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
• Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and sprint planning
• Develop and consume APIs / microservices as required
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities
• Identify and resolve application defects and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality and security compliance
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams for seamless delivery
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java / .NET / Python / JavaScript
• Experience with web application development frameworks
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture
• Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of application security and performance tuning
