Summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer for our Stoic Warrior program. This position is hybrid with up to four days per week on-site. The Senior Software Engineer will develop new software capabilities for a system that automates orchestration of wireless communication architectures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices using Python, Go, JavaScript, React, and other programming languages.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a React JavaScript frontend. Utilize open source technologies for continuous deployment, event-driven automation, and efficient infrastructure management.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write clean, well-documented code, and maintain code quality through code reviews and best practices.
  • Optimize software for maximum performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform a plus.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met by the software.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software development.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years experience. Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, or Javascript programming languages.
  • Familiarity with modern software development technologies and practices, including CI/CD pipeline and microservices architecture.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (ship Required).

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
  • Experience developing software in classified environments.
  • Experience developing software architectures that enable and support signal processing capabilities.
  • Deep experience building containerized Python applications using Docker.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes, with strong familiarity in writing and customizing Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and ArgoCD configurations.
  • Practical experience with AWS services.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts, requirements, and system designs to customers, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience participating in customer meetings, technical deep-dives, architecture discussions, and design reviews.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, diagrams, and presentations as deliveries to customers.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $130,000 - $190,000
