Solution Architect – Enterprise Applications & Integrations

Location: Irving, TX Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite 

Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications, integrations, and digital platforms for a large, multi-brand organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft .NET, modern web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise application architecture. This role requires someone who can translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, guide engineering teams, and remain actively involved throughout implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for enterprise applications, digital platforms, and integration initiatives.

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using C#/.NET, React, APIs, and relational databases.

• Define integration patterns across internal applications, third-party platforms, and enterprise systems.

• Design RESTful APIs, microservices, data contracts, and event-driven integrations.

• Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, system interfaces, and data-flow documentation.

• Evaluate existing applications and recommend modernization, performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance, participate in design and code reviews, and resolve complex architectural challenges.

• Establish standards for application security, API governance, monitoring, testing, and deployment.

• Support technical planning, solution estimation, implementation, and production readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant hands-on development and enterprise solution design.

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET,  Core, and Web APIs.

• Experience with modern frontend technologies, particularly React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Strong SQL skills, including relational database design, data modeling, and query optimization.

• Experience designing cloud-hosted applications using Azure or AWS.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application security, and modern development practices.

• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate architectural decisions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Experience providing architecture guidance and technical leadership across engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting enterprise applications in complex, multi-brand or multi-business-unit environments.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, customer-facing applications, and mobile integrations.

• Experience with messaging systems, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms such as SnapLogic.

• Experience with cloud-native services, application modernization, and large-scale migration initiatives.

• Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

• Experience mentoring developers and establishing architecture standards across multiple teams.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an architect who is still technically hands-on and comfortable working directly with engineering teams. The candidate should understand how applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems fit together and be capable of owning technical decisions from initial design through delivery.
