Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Performance Management Engineer to support customer migrations from third-party performance monitoring platforms to our performance management solutions. The role requires strong z/OS expertise, migration experience, troubleshooting skills, and customer-facing technical consulting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support migration projects from competing mainframe performance monitoring tools to company solutions.
Review customer z/OS environments, understand existing monitoring setups, and determine migration scope, effort, and technical requirements.
Develop migration estimates, implementation approaches, and project plans based on customer environments.
Install, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot performance management solutions across IBM z/OS systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues during implementation, testing, and migration activities.
Prepare migration documentation, technical procedures, and implementation guides.
Work closely with customers, project managers, architects, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide technical guidance, participate in customer discussions, and support successful transition to the new performance management platform.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with IBM z/OS and mainframe performance management.
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools and migrations.
Good understanding of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance analysis in mainframe environments.
Strong communication, documentation, estimation, and customer-facing consulting skills.
