Real World Data Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity:

As a leader on our team, you'll manage complex data linkage initiatives for federal projects that will require deep technical expertise and proven leadership experience in managing large-scale, secure data environments.

What You'll Work On:
  • Lead and oversee PPRL projects involving probabilistic and deterministic record linkage across large datasets.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and NIH security policies , procedures, and standards.
  • Manage technical environments, including network devices, hardware, and sof tware.
  • Develop and optimize linkage algorithms and evaluate linkage accuracy using statistical met rics.
  • Provide risk management, quality assurance, and maintain data security for federal datasets.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written communication.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience as project or task lead
  • 2+ years of experience with risk management, quality assurance, and maintaining data security for federal datasets
  • Experience evaluating linkage accuracy and developing or optimizing linkage algorithms
  • Experience with multiple technologies, network devices, hardware, and sof tware
  • Experience with federal and NIH security policies , procedures, and standards
  • Experience leading tasks or projects at or for a federal agency or organization
  • Knowledge of probabilistic and deterministic record linkage met hodologies, including POI and PPRL
  • Public Trust
  • Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Bioinformatics
  • PMP, CISSP, CISM, or SANS GSNA Certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with CMS data
  • Experience with emerging technologies and automation tools for PPRL processes
  • Experience managing enclave technical and security matters
  • Knowledge of AI and ML met hods for linkage optimization
  • Possession of excellent statistical and analytical skills
  • PMI or Advanced Security Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
