Job Description:
Looking for a skilled Database Administrator (PostgreSQL/Oracle) with strong Python development expertise and hands-on experience in Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize enterprise databases while developing scalable Python-based applications and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases (performance tuning, backup/recovery, replication, security).
Design and implement database schemas, indexing strategies, and high-availability architectures.
Develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, and automation scripts.
Integrate Generative AI models (LLMs) into enterprise workflows and applications.
Build data pipelines for AI/ML workloads, including data preprocessing and vector storage solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and performant systems.
Ensure database compliance, security standards, and operational best practices.
Required Skills
Strong experience in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle database administration.
Experience with vector databases (e.g. postgres pgvector)
Proficiency in Python (e.g., FastAPI/Flask, Pandas).
Experience with Generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain).
Knowledge of database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
Experience with Linux environments and scripting.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform).
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
