Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle database development, SQL programming, performance tuning, and database optimization. The ideal candidate should have experience developing complex database solutions and supporting enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

  • Write complex SQL queries to support business and application requirements.

  • Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot database issues to ensure application performance and reliability.

  • Work with large datasets, database objects, indexes, views, and materialized views.

  • Develop and maintain data processing scripts and database integration solutions.

  • Participate in database design, code reviews, testing, and production support.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver effective database solutions.

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to existing database processes.

  • Maintain technical documentation and follow database development best practices.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

  • Strong expertise in stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and exception handling.

  • Experience with complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and dynamic SQL.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database performance tuning and query optimization.

  • Good understanding of database objects, indexing, partitioning, and execution plans.

  • Experience with data migration, data validation, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.

  • Knowledge of database performance monitoring and production support.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control tools.
