Job Overview:
Pay Range $45hr - $50hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in .NET development, software engineering, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Strong experience with GitHub and modern software development practices.
- Hands-on experience applying AI-assisted development practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly using GitHub Copilot.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with container technologies, particularly Docker.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database management, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software project management practices.
- Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Experience developing enterprise-level and scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop robust .NET applications while ensuring alignment with project requirements, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Lead and provide technical direction to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Promote and govern the adoption of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development practices across development teams.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to developers and project stakeholders.
- Research emerging technologies and evaluate opportunities to enhance existing applications and development processes.
- Implement technical improvements and industry best practices to improve application quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Analyze client specifications and business requirements to develop customized solutions using .NET and SQL Server.
- Design and implement software architectures using appropriate design patterns and engineering principles.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data access solutions.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and related technologies.
- Review project deliverables against established quality standards, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to development teams.
- Identify potential technical risks and recommend solutions to support successful project delivery.
- Train and mentor team members in .NET development standards, architecture, coding practices, and emerging technologies.
- Foster knowledge sharing and continuous technical improvement within development teams.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify opportunities to create additional client value through innovative .NET solutions and modern engineering practices.
- Ensure solutions meet client expectations for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support Agile development activities and contribute to project planning and delivery processes.
- Perform additional technical leadership and software development responsibilities as required.

- Experience with Loan Origination applications/products is preferred.
