Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director_ UI/UX design with a strong emphasis on UX Design to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 10 15 years of experience in the field, demonstrating a deep understanding of user centered design principles and methodologies. This role requires a creative thinker who can translate complex ideas into intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:


Lead the UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring a user centered approach throughout.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions.
Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, applying them to enhance user experiences.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.


Mandatory Skills:


Proven experience in UX Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user centered design projects.
Expertise in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Strong understanding of interaction design principles and best practices.
Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.


Preferred Skills:


Experience with front end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Experience in designing for mobile applications and responsive web design.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on UX.
A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of user centered design and showcases relevant projects.
