We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support application and software development initiatives in a hybrid environment. This role will focus on requirements gathering, business process analysis, use case development, and stakeholder collaboration to help drive successful project delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis experience, Agile familiarity, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements for technical teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into actionable requirements
- Create use cases, process flows, workflows, and supporting business documentation
- Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Support Agile project delivery through requirements clarification and stakeholder collaboration
- Facilitate requirements meetings, discovery sessions, and documentation reviews
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the development lifecycle
- Act as a liaison between business users, project teams, and technical resources
- Support application/software development initiatives from analysis through delivery
- Assist with issue resolution, requirement updates, and project communication as needed
qualifications:
Qualifications
5+ years of Business Analyst experience in technology or application development environments
Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements
Experience creating use cases, process maps, workflows, and business documentation
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership
Experience supporting application or software development projects
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with process improvement and workflow analysis preferred
Prior public sector or enterprise environment experience preferred
