Location: New York City, NY – Onsite

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work onsite in New York City and act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, documenting functional requirements, and ensuring that delivered solutions align with business objectives.
The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, UX designers, developers, QA teams, and offshore Business Analysts to support the successful delivery of software and digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and business workshops to understand requirements and business objectives.
- Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and inputs for wireframes.
- Maintain requirement traceability throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to review, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.
- Work closely with UX, engineering, and QA teams to clarify requirements and address functional questions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify that developed features meet business expectations.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and data analysis to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with offshore Business Analysts to ensure a smooth transfer of requirements, business context, and project information.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development, IT, or digital product delivery.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, process modeling, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to convert business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Experience preparing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL queries or data analysis.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or a similar Business Analysis certification.
- Experience supporting product development teams and User Acceptance Testing.
